We are a compassionate church:
Helping children at our local primary school learn to make healthy lunches
Giving food parcels to Grandparents raising Grandchildren
Holding a free second-hand clothing giveaway for people in the community
Knitting blankets for Operation Cover-up which provides blankets for orphans in Eastern Europe
Supporting Operation Christmas Child with shoe boxes of gifts for children in the Pacific
Holding mini-fairs in support of local charities such as the Hospice Trust
Supporting the APW Special Project
The acts of kindness and compassion we undertake helps us fulfill our vision to be a church which Demonstrates God’s love so that others can’t ignore it.

History
Rev. James MacKenzie.Jan 2007 We celebrated the centennial of the first service held in Tahunanui. People associated with the parish gathered from all over New Zealand and overseas to enjoy this celebration together.

We are firmly convinced that God is at work in our congregation. Each week God inspires us to live out our Christian lives through worship and caring for the people around us.
You are welcome to be a part of the life changing activities in our parish and to help us make history here in Tahunanui.
